Katherine Brabon is a writer from Melbourne, Australia. Her first novel, The Memory Artist, won The Australian/Vogel's Literary Award and was published by Allen & Unwin in April 2016. Katherine writes for print and online newspapers and publications, and is a regular contributor to Lindsay magazine.
Born in 1987, Katherine grew up in Woodend, Victoria. She studied at La Trobe University and the University of Oxford, and recently completed a PhD in Creative Writing. She lives in Melbourne and works at Monash University.
